2007 FLU & YOU AND WHAT TO DO

Flu vaccines will shortly be available for patients who fall into the following categories:

Aged over 65 - patients with respiratory disease

Patients with heart disease - patients with kidney disease

Patients with liver disease - patients with diabetes

Patients with a history of stroke - patients with a weak immune system

Health & social care staff directly involved with patient care

Patients who care for a vulnerable relative

Open access clinics will be held on the following days, no appointments needed.  Please be prepared to wait, approximately 5 or 6 vaccinations can be given in each 15 min.

Seascale

Thursday 11th October     9am – 6pm      Primarily for patients surname beginning with A - F

Friday 12th October          9am – 6pm      Primarily for patients surname beginning with G - M

Wednesday 17th October 9am – 6pm     Primarily for patients surname beginning with N - S

Thursday 18th October    9am – 6pm      Primarily for patients surname beginning with T – Z

Bootle

Monday 15th October        1pm – 5pm

Monday 22nd October     1pm – 5pm

If you are unable to come on a designated day as above please come to another session.

Please be aware these vaccination clinics are quick ‘in & out’, the nurse will not have time to discuss other issues.

Please remove outdoor clothing and if possible roll up sleeves prior to entering the vaccination room.
