Parking in and Around the village of Gosforth in Cumbria

There is a large public car park in the middle of the village. This is free and has public toilets as well.
PLEASE USE THIS CAR PARK RATHER THAN PARKNG OUTSIDE THE SHOPS WHERE YOU WILL BLOCK ACCESS FOR TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIANS ALIKE. GOSFORTH IS A SMALL VILLAGE , USING THE CAR PARK WILL PUT NO MORE THAN A FEW SECONDS ON YOUR TRIP TO THE SHOP, BAKERY OR BANK BUT IT WILL HELP SOLVE A CONGESTION PROBLEM!
